The Vintage Advance AV4 and AV4+1 range of bass guitars offer an ideal combination of the much-revered traditional look and feel that we all know, whilst taking into account the needs of contemporary playing styles. Optimum balance is provided by the re-designed top horn, which also allows unhindered access to the upper frets.
The high specification includes an American alder body and hard maple neck with Indian rosewood fingerboard.
The AV4 and AV4+1 come as standard with a matched, calibrated pair of Wilkinson alnico V WBJ single coil J-type pickups, rich and warm, punchy and precise, with bags of tone and power for all styles of music.
Hardware for the AV basses includes a fully-adjustable WBB steel plate bridge with vintage style brass saddles, giving superior tone transfer. Traditional-style 'open gear' tuners enable maximum tuning stability.
